Multitude Monday: Counting 1000 Gifts...
Well I took a 2 month break due to traveling, no internet at times, and just plain old forgetfulness or fatigue. But I'm back in the new year to continue counting the many blessings...
#68 Disney in December! This was our family Christmas this year, so in lieu of gifts we decided to go on our first just-the-five-of-us vacation. I loved seeing my kids enjoy everything about being at Disney and their delight was absolutely contagious. So thankful we got to go!

#69 Spending Christmas Eve and Day in Nashville, TN...it was great to be with family, and the kids adored spending time with their cousins.
#70 God's faithful provision to us through our ministry partners who gave so generously in December.
#71 A good article I read recently that gave me a swift kick where I needed it...challenged my attitude of drudgery when taxing days were ahead. I need to consider every day a day "that the Lord has made...let us rejoice and be glad in it."
#72 A new friend with whom I spent 3 hours at Panera on a Saturday without even realizing that so much time had gone by. That's some good connecting.
#73 Feeling like I'm in a good groove with homeschooling right now...really enjoying the curriculum and what we are all learning!
#74 The twins are learning how to read! One's picking it up quicker than the other, but this is an exciting milestone.
#75 Our schedule got tweaked a bit and it is allowing us to take Fridays off school to just do piano lesson, speech therapy, and the library (with maybe a Panera snack break!). Friday is also family pizza night (no cooking for me) & movie night. A great way to end the school week.
#76 I know it is going to get treacherous outside the next couple days, but a snow storm that forces everything & everybody to slow down and hunker down at home is sounding really good & cozy.
